What is a Milkrun?

A milkrun is a logistics strategy where a single vehicle makes multiple stops to pick up or drop off goods from different locations along a planned route. Instead of each supplier sending a separate delivery, a single vehicle does the work of many, just like a milkman making multiple stops on his route.

This method significantly reduces the number of trips, minimizes fuel consumption, and, most importantly, slashes "empty miles" - the wasted travel time and cost of a truck returning empty from a delivery.
